Vera Baird 100th Birthday

Vera Ann Blair Baird

Vera Baird celebrated her 100th birthday on June 11. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, and has lived in Eastern Washington for 15 years.

She met her husband, Robert Baird, in San Diego, and the couple was married in 1970.

Baird worked as an accountant and credits her long and healthy life to never smoking or drinking.

Her children are Suzanne Knight of Lake Shasta; Ann Williams of Sweet Home, Oregon; and Jim and Bill Buller, who are both deceased.

Baird has six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
