Pink and husband Carey Hart enjoy a day on the water with their kids as they 'unplug' on vacation in Northern California's Lake Shasta

Pink and her husband Carey Hart got away from their home, in the Santa Ynez Valley.

With their daughter Willow, nine, and Jameson, three, the couple traveled to Shasta Lake, popularly known as Lake Shasta, a reservoir in Shasta County, Northern California, for a relaxing vacation.

They both shared photos from boating excursion to Instagram on Thursday as they enjoyed wakeboarding and swimming.

'Lake Shasta has my heart,' the singer (born Alecia Beth Moore) wrote alongside a picture of Carey driving the boat. 'Along with that guy.'

The former Motorcross competitor, 44, shared a series of snaps of his kids relaxing on the water.

'Unplug,' he wrote. 'Got to do it once in a while. The family and I have been doing our best to maximize this Covid time by spending time together and doing awesome activities.'

They seem to be fans of Lake Shasta as he added 'This trip is one for the books. The lake never disappoints. Hope everyone is doing great.'

Pink recently credited counseling for the longevity of her marriage to Carey Hart.

She and Carey have been married for 14 years and feels they 'would not be together' still if not for couple's therapy with Vanessa Inn.

She shared on Instagram Live this Friday that 'I got a lot of s*** for telling people that Carey and I have been in couple's counseling with Vanessa.'

Pink explained: 'So I talk to Vanessa on my own and I also talk to Vanessa with Carey. And for Carey and I it's the only reason that we're still together.

She theorized: 'Because you know, I think partners, after a long time, we just speak - I can't say it's a man and woman thing. I think it's a partner thing and spouse thing that you just speak two different languages and you need someone to hear both of you and then translate it for you.'

Pink shared: 'And without Vanessa translating for me for the last 18 years, we would not be together. We just wouldn't. Because we are not taught as kids how to have relationships, how to get along with people.'

She went on to have an Instagram Live conversation with Vanessa where she told a story that illustrated how therapy helped her understand her 'intimacy' problems.

However they quickly got back together, were engaged by 2005 and then married in 2006 - only to separate in 2008 and then reunite less than a year later.

'There was a moment in couple's counseling with Carey, I'll never forget, in our - in the office, I had been complaining about him for years, about: "He's just not present. He's not here. He doesn't get it. He's not hearing me emotionally. He's not even trying to understand my language,"' Pink recounted to Vanessa.

'And you were like: "Okay, everybody shut up. Stand up. Put your hands on each other's hearts and just look into each other's eyes." And this man that I had been saying won't show up for me was, his feet were planted in that earth, his hand was on my heart, and his eyes were looking into my soul.'

Pink said: 'And guess what I did - I started giggling and I looked away. And in that moment I realized that I was a little bit full of s***. Like I was the one here that was just talking and there have been many of those times.'

The singer and the former motorcross racer first met in 2001, struck up a relationship and then broke up in 2003.
